Q&A: Any recommendations for "Covid"?
Q: My brother was diagnosed with Covid and his doctor prescribed Paxlovid. His girlfriend's doctor advised him to avoid it and take vitamin C, D3 and zinc. The drug is $1,400 for five days. He has Medicare and Medicaid and pays nothing. Any recommendations?

A: Thank you for your question.
By “Covid” I assume you mean that your brother took the shot because in my world, Covid was ALWAYS the jab.
In Hawaii, for example, the rate of so-called Covid deaths remained at .04% from the day of shutdown—ironically, on April 1st—all the way until April of 2021, when the “lifesaving vaccine” was introduced. Note that we were locked down worse than anyone with no flights in or out of the islands until a few months after rollout. Within six months of its release, my local church lost 11% of its congregation.
When you’ve been dealing with this corrupt industry for as long as I have, you learn to spot the lies way ahead of the curve. I know you didn’t come here for a lecture, but it’s important to have the right frame of mind when dealing with something intended to induce anxiety and stress.
The second part of reducing anxiety is knowing that even the CDC admits now that Covid is more-or-less the flu, and should be treated as such. They can’t come out and say it actually IS the flu because of all the terror they put the world through since 2020. You can see some of their fancy footwork around the issue here.
With that in mind, I have long-regarded cold and flu as the body’s ritual cleansing of toxins built up over months. This article shows how I have always successfully treated such illness, even before I knew anything about nutrition, and usually in record time.
The key to all detoxification and dealing with chronic illness is increasing bowel movements. It’s really as simple as that. While that older article is usually enough to induce elimination, this previous Q&A has instructions on how to get that proverbial ball rolling.
Honestly, these days, I would probably skip directly to getting the poop train moving with the salt flush from that Q&A, because it will ensure the release of toxins even faster than my older protocol. Of course, it can be done alongside everything mentioned in the cold and flu article. Don’t get hung up on cherrypicking the one part that appeals to you.
Depending on severity of symptoms, I would also consider taking 2-4 capsules of activated charcoal (affiliate link) to bind the toxins quickly before removal.
For a particularly difficult case, I would personally take a little distillate of pine resin oil (i.e. turpentine). The instructions on how I do it are in the digital download offered to subscribers of this Substack. If that’s too “out there”, many people appear to have similar outcomes with pine needle tea, widely available in health food stores.
Before learning about the power of turpentine, I would’ve used grapefruit seed extract (GSE)—nature’s antibiotic. I still keep a bottle around for those times when I need a one-two punch to kick something out of my system (turpentine is the ‘one’ in this scenario).
Your brother is lucky to have a girlfriend whose doctor has some sense! He needs to fire his drug dealer and hire her person! $1400 for 5 days—GTFOH! And it almost always results in rebound—mo’ money! mo’ money! mo’ money!
He can check out the freebie on this page on 11 Ways to Avoid Quacks, Charlatans and Butchers. Whatever he does, he should NEVER trust that doctor EVER AGAIN!!!!
I suspect that the vitamin C recommendation is to bowel tolerance—i.e. take as much as necessary until he poops. Zinc should be taken in whatever quantity necessary, until he can taste it.
I would add that the best vitamin D comes from midday sunlight and pastured lard—you read that right. It turns out that pigs process vitamin D from sunlight, just like humans. Lard from pastured pigs has thankfully become widely available in recent years. Cod liver oil also has vitamin D, but I currently don’t have a brand I feel comfortable with.
I know the healthcare industry advises against midday sun, but they profit from that. One of the details they ignore is that you must have as much skin exposed as possible and NO sunscreen. In fact, you shouldn’t even shower with soap (except on pits and bits) because vitamin D builds up in the skin over time.
The diet must also be loaded with life-giving high cholesterol foods: egg yolks, full-fat dairy, organ meats, seafood, and muscle meats with the fat for converting sunlight to vitamin D. When I was a kid, these were all well-known “brain foods.” It makes sense, since the brain is made up of 60% or more cholesterol, and cholesterol-lowering statin drugs have a common side effect of dementia. Let that sink in!
So, make sure he’s eating plenty of these foods, if he’s taking vitamin D3. I probably don’t need to mention that vitamin D2—a preferred vegetarian source—is highly carcinogenic.
One last overlooked vitamin D detail is complexion. The darker your skin, the more exposure to sunlight you need. I’m a black woman, who probably needs at least 3 hours of sunlight per day to make enough of the vitamin, while my cousin, who is much darker than me, probably needs 4 or 5 hours. Someone from the Mediterranean may need 2 hours, while a Scandinavian might only need 1/2 hour.
I don’t get bogged down in measuring with any “precision,” because such things are always evolving. The point is that the “10 minutes a day on the face” recommendation is bullshit.
Before I let you go, I want to underscore that what are reported as flu deaths every year were never flu to begin with. Take a look at this chart from the American Lung Association.
You can read their website. It clearly states that all the “flu deaths” each year are over 90% attributed to pneumonia—and no, not pneumonia caused by the flu. Some people will quibble with the cut off year, but they only produce such reports every few decades. It’s unlikely the situation suddenly flipped in the last 15. Nonetheless, it might be helpful to see their statistical slight-of-hand used to drum up fear.
I hope this helps and I apologize that I was unable to get to answer in a more timely manner. Please let me know if you have any follow-up questions.
For now, I’m out!
If you’ve got a health question, please join the Nutrition Heretic Substack and ask me in the Group Chat. I DO NOT check my direct messages or individual emails anymore, because I’m in the final stretch of reviewing book edits. Unfortunately, I must do it myself, because I haven’t found an editor or proofreader willing to fully show up for the task.
It’s impossible to be everywhere all the time, so kindly help me keep the conversation contained to my public Substack. It’s free, so why not?

Great response,Adrienne. I'm from NZ, never took the jab, never had covid. Never took the test either. Don't get sick either. I'm a firm believer sickness is a toxin overload but getting that thru to folk is like banging your head on a brick wall. People are so conditioned to the germ theory. We had a good friend, since passed, an ex pathologist who advocated supplementing. C, D3, zinc. He swore by it. He maintained stay away from GP's, said they were modern day pimps whose credentials weren't worth the paper they were printed on. Stay away from processed foods. Eat whole, natural full fat food as much as possible. Get outside and soak up the sun being busy. Be barefoot too. Grow as much of your food as you are able. Get out of the cities if you can. I love your posts. Thank you so much 😊
Hi Adrienne just wondering what church this is?
